After a four-year hiatus, artist Kenton Parker's vivid imagery is on display through Nov. 4 at albertz benda, Los Angeles. Profound and intimate, each of the artist's pieces offers an earnest look at Parker's inner struggle with mental health, substance abuse, relationships, nature and growth. "I basically picked up the pieces from a personal crash and burn and made art out of it," he says. In accordance with his experience and his dedication to the arts, Parker co-founded Girl Trip, a multi-platform collaborative nonprofit that gathers industry professionals and mentors to advance female artists.
