We are pleased to announce that NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale has acquired Levitation by Larissa de Souza for its permanent collection. Acquired from the artist’s solo exhibition Phenomenal, the piece reflects de Souza’s layered, mixed-media practice, combining paint and craft materials to explore memory, ancestry, and the lived experiences of Afro-Brazilian women.
