We are excited to announce that Untitled (White Horse) by Robert Peterson has been added to the Art Bridges Foundation’s collection. Through meticulous attention to tone and gradation, Peterson creates richly nuanced swaths of color that celebrate the everyday life and beauty of Black Americans. In this piece, as in many of his works, Peterson portrays the friends and family who make up his small community in Southeastern Oklahoma. Inspired by the style of editorial photography, White Horse features a minimal backdrop, allowing the focus to remain on the body and personality of his figures.
